DENIM & LIGHTNING FESTIVAL
The 2nd edition of Denim & Lightning festival is the perfect indoor festival in Oberhausen (Germany) to see your favourite underground Rock’n’Roll bands and discover your newest favourites. From Rock’n’Roll to Hard Rock to Glam Rock and everything in between, the line-up consist of a variety of 5 great bands from Germany, The Netherlands and Sweden.
Doors open at 17:00 h, start 17:30 h.

HARDBONE (DE)
Rock 'N' Roll is no musical style. It is a way of life, a lifestyle! These five guys, who are completely filled with testosterone are showing the middle finger to all the people who can't or don't want to understand that! Since the foundation of the band at the end of 2006 cliches are being fed, squares are being angered and the sound of the old school is being as much celebrated, that many listeners have to rub their eyes, ears and other body parts!

GRANDE ROYALE (SE)
Grande Royale is a rock 'n' roll band from Jönköping, Sweden, rooted in the American rock scene of the early '70s and the Scandinavian rock scene of the '90s. The band delivers straightforward rock with melodic vocals and thunderous basslines, perfect for gentle headbanging combined with dancing in front of the stage. A treat for fans of the Scandinavian rock era, featuring bands like The Hellacopters and Gluecifer.

SWEET ELECTRIC (DE)
Sweet Electric is a German-Australian band that plays classic heavy rock, glam and Retro Rock'n'Roll! Singer Brad Marr (also known from the band Massive) is the swirling center, a high-energy performer in the midst of a raging storm with extraordinary musicians (some of them known from The Gäs). Furious guitar riffs, sparkling drums, bittersweet melodies and a good dose of self-irony. A distillate of the best rock'n'roll of the 70s and 80s at the highest level years, garnished with a pinch of modern guitar rock.

Love parties, rock, and live music? Then you’re in the right place! SEXTROW delivers energetic hard rock, thrilling shows, and pure fun. Hailing from "Köllefornia," these five guys take you back to the '80s, when "Sex, Drugs & Rock 'n' Roll" was served for breakfast. With a unique blend of sleaze and glam, they serve up heavy riffs, fiery solos, and catchy hooks straight from their own repertoire. Forget your worries and party hard – experience SEXTROW!

THE DIRTY DENIMS (NL)
The Dirty Denims from The Netherlands play hardrock that makes you feel good. Combined with rock 'n roll, powerpop and a slice of punkrock it sounds like AC/DC, KISS, Joan Jett, Ramones and The Donnas. They bring you an energetic fun show. They are co-host of this festival and will celebrate the birth of their new album! They played on large Dutch festivals like Lowlands, Rockin' Park, Zwarte Cross and Bospop and supported Slash, Whitesnake, Airbourne, Golden Earring, Extreme, Cheap Trick, Steel Panther and Thundermother.
